本地女艺术家为庆祝国庆，竟要百名狮城女人露出光溜溜的臀部，还设小房间让女人“自拍”，结果遭公众炮轰：露臀和国庆有何关系？
本地艺术家王良吟（46岁）为收集本地女人的露臀照，日前特地设立网站，让有兴趣的女人把她们的光臀照放在网上展出。
Translation: Local artist Amanda Heng’s ‘project’ involves having women post anonymous shots of their ‘bare bottoms’ on her singirl website, in celebration of National Day. Natually, readers are demanding to know what all this has to do with National Day.

Designed like an amateur porn site and swinging precariously between cheap publicity stunt and scathing commentary of femininity, this mass demonstration of DIY hineys comes across more like an elaborate prank than art banking on schlock value. You would think red and white body paint would probably do a better job than what 100 fleshy butts can ever hope achieve. Maybe I’m missing something, or probably I’m just an ass for not ‘getting’ it. If the website had a soundtrack it would probably be this relatively unknown NDP sleeper hit, Five Stars Arising. You know, the one that goes ‘There’s a new MOON arising, out of the stormy sea..youthful and bright and bearing hope…’ More NDP commemorative art gone wrong here. Happy National Day weekend everyone.
